The gym offers a wide range of classes and training, which can be mix and matched for the needs of the student, depending on the student's overall goals.
We have an extensive boxing program, which includes beginner training and working in the ring for sparring, for all age groups, up until professional boxing, which includes foot work, bag work, sparring in the ring, and intense workout in a 1-on-1 or group setting. The overall program is for fitness, agility, confidence, self-defense, and competition in our combat sports programs. Or present students are from 9 to 40 years old.
The weight management program allows students to lose or gain weight through a comprehensive exercise program involving weight training, mobility exercises, cross training, and endurance activities. We provide various diet plans depending on your specific goals.
The circuit training program will encompass a wide range of exercises for fitness and weight loss and will be a seperate program as well as part of some of the other programs for warm-ups and fitness training. The circuit training is a central part of the programs for fitness and various combat sports.
The beginner program will teach you footwork and basic foil fencing skills. The program is for beginning students and individuals who have had other fencing training.
The gym will start a youth karate class the second week of May and will also offer adult classes in this discipline sometime in May.
Sue currently teaches two dynamic classes at the studio. On Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM, she leads a mind-body class that blends yoga, Pilates, and tai chi to help students build strength, flexibility, and inner calm.
On Thursday mornings at 5:30 AM, Sue's strength training class kicks off the day with a powerful mix of plyometrics, HIIT, and interval training. Each class includes both low- and high-impact options, making them accessible and effective for all fitness levels.
